LAWDA conducts demolition drive in Srinagar areas

SRINAGAR, MARCH 09: The Enforcement Wing of Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) today carried out a demolition drive at Guptganga Ishaber Nishat, Lashkari Mohalla Foreshore Road, Handam Mohalla Foreshore Road, Baber Shah and Miskeen Bagh Rainawari .

During the drive 03 single storey houses, 01 shed, one plinth and one 2nd storey were demolished despite resistance from the public at many places.

Meanwhile, it was given out that the Enforcement wing will continue the demolition of illegal constructions/ removal of encroachments and in case anybody found guilty the same shall be dealt as per law.
