CRPF trooper dies of cardiac arrest in Srinagar

A paramilitary CRPF trooper died of cardiac arrest at Court Road area of Kashmir capital Srinagar on Thursday evening.

A CRPF official told news agency that the trooper of F/ 132 Battalion of CRPF, identified as Zalim Singh, was admitted to the SMHS hospital after suffering a heart attack. However doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The officer said that the body of the trooper will be sent to his hometown after postmortem.
