A retired Zonal Educational Officer (ZEO) was killed after ran over by tipper from rear side in Poonch district on Jammu on Thursday, officials said.
They said at about 1500 hours, the ZEO Gulab-ud-Din (retired ZEO) son of Wali Mohammad of Prat Gurasi in Mendhar area of Poonch district crushed to death when a tipper (JK12-7950) hit and trampled him after unloading Bajri at his house.
SHO Gurasi Kamal Singh confirmed the death and said that further proceedings are underway.
