Advisor Khan greets people on Jumat-ul-Vida; prays for well being of people around world, end of covid pandemic

Urges people to register and get vaccinated against covid -19; follow covid appropriate behaviour
MAY 07: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan today extended his warm greetings on the occasion of Jumat-ul-Vida, urging people to seek the blessings from Almighty to take out the whole of humanity from the global health crisis of the Coronavirus pandemic.
In his message of greetings, Advisor Khan said the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan is the sacred occasion when the faithful seek blessing from the Almighty for the whole of humanity.
“On this auspicious occasion, we all must pray to Almighty to take us out of this current health crisis so that we will witness the end of this pandemic which has struck the whole humanity,” Advisor Khan said.
He also urged people to strictly follow the guidelines and protocol of health advisories while celebrating auspicious occasions during COVID-19 pandemic. “Following SOPs strictly will help us to collectively defeat this pandemic so that humanity would once again prevail for good,” he said.
He further appealed people to register and inoculate themselves with coronavirus vaccine , which would eventually strengthen their immune system to help in fighting this disease to its end.
The Advisor also hoped that this auspicious occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood and be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Advisor also prayed for the well-being of the people of the J&K.
