1. In light of the recent rise in COVID-19 cases nationwide, a COVID AWARENESS CUM ASSISTANCE PATROL was conducted by Bandipora RR under the aegis of Watlab Sector in Jabban Village .
2. The Army reached out to the awaam to spread awareness about COVID-19, carried out Medical Check Ups, provided Basic Medical Aid and distributed Masks & Sanitisers to those in need. The importance of social distancing, wearing of masks and vaccination was reiterated to everyone. In addition, the local leaders and maulvis were also urged to motivate the awaam to get vaccinated and avoid crowded places.
3. The event proved to be a good platform for fighting the spread of COVID and reassuring the Awaam of Army’s continued support in every sphere of their lives.
