1. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the wake of rapid spread of pandemic in various parts of country, Yamrad Army Camp carried out COVID-19 Awareness Patrol and face mask distribution in Payen Village. The Patrol moved from door to door with an aim to spread awareness of COVID-19 precautions.
2. The Patrol aimed to spread awareness on guidelines issued by local civil administration on lockdown, guided people to observe social distancing, isolation measures, hand and face hygiene and also the mandatory use of mask at all times to combat COVID-19. The villagers were provided basic medical assistance like medicine, thermal screening, face mask distribution and were also asked to sanitize their house from time to time. A total of 60 locals were provided medical assistance.
