CUK VC holds online meeting with CRs

Srinagar, May 9: Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir held an online meeting with the Class Representatives (CRs) of various departments of the varsity.

CUK VC listened to the queries and concerns flagged by the students during the meeting, which was also attended by Registrar, Prof. M Afzal Zargar and Dean Students Welfare, Dr. Mehraj ud din Shah. This was the second meeting of Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir with the students since 3rd May 2021, the university started online classes due to present situation. He assured them that their genuine concerns and problems would be addressed. Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir informed the students that the university is committed to provide quality education under all circumstances including in the online mode during the present pandemic. He spelled out various measures which university is undertaking to make the present online teaching learning effective and beneficial for the students. He advised the students to give feedback to the Director Quality Assurance Cell of the university about the quality of the teaching learning process. Moreover, he informed the students that the university has nominated mentors for all departments and advised the respective mentors to get in touch with the students to help them to cope up with the academic and other psychological challenges arising out of the pandemic.

Prof. M Afzal Zargar, also responded to many queries of the students. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Asif Khan, Deputy DSW.
