Hailstorm causes ruin in North Kashmir’s Rafiabad AP leader urges LG to immediate compensate Fruit growers

Today on 14 May, late afternoon hailstorm hits Rafiabad and its adjacent areas, which cause massive damage to the orchards and destroyed completely Apple, standing and other fruit crops.
In a statement’ former MLA Rafiabad and Apni party leader Yawar Dilawar mir, stated that, the fruit growers as well as farmers were already in distress due to earlier loss in crops.The unprecedented hailstorm has resulted a huge loss in the area, mostly in Chijama, Rohama, Tragpora, Hadipora, Reban, Soinan, Rawoocha and more villages of the same.
Mir urged LG Manoj Sinha,District administration and Director horticulture, to assess the losses and senction sufficient compensation to affected fruit growers and farmers, as it was the only source of livelihood for them.
