More than 360 media persons get their first dose of vaccine

JAMMU, MAY 25: District Administration Jammu in association with Directorate of Information and PR organised vaccination camp for media persons from 18-45 age group at Directorate of Information and PR office, Jammu. More than 360 media persons got their first dose of vaccine.

On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Jammu Anshul Garg and incessant efforts of Joint Director Information Jammu Namrita Dogra, the 363 media persons today got their first dose of vaccine.

Anshul Garg said that media persons are working tirelessly as front line warriors providing effective and factual reporting from the ground zero.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the left out journalists will be covered soon in next few days.

While supervising the vaccination drive, the Joint Director Information Jammu, Namrita Dogra stated media is the fourth pillar of our democracy and it is very important and crucial job as they are working round the clock to bring awareness among the beneficiaries and positive stories regarding Covid-19.

The media persons showed enthusiasm during the vaccination camp and expressed their gratitude towards the District Administration and Information department.
