River Police Friday rescued a man from Srinagar who allegedly tried to commit suicide by jumping into the river Jehlum near Abdullah Bridge. An official told news Agency that a man identified as Rashid Yousuf Dar son of Mohd Yousuf Dar a resident of Indira Nagar Sonawar jumped into the river but was immediately rescued by River Police present at Pirzo.Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
