KUPWARA, JUNE 04: The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Handwara ,Nazir Ahmad Mir today distributed cheques worth Rs.2 lakh among 57 fire victims of Sabzi Mandi, Handwara, whose Sheds and Hand Carts had got damaged in a fire accident last week.
As per details, 43 Shed owners were provided Rs.1.72 lakh at the rate of Rs.4000 per Shed while 14 Hand Cart owners were provided Rs.28000 at the rate of Rs.2000 per Hand Cart.
The ADC, on the occasion said that the relief of Rs.2 lakh was provided on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara under Red Cross Fund.
On the occasion Tehsildar Handwara, Ajaz Ahmad Khoru, president Traders Federation Handwara, Ajaz Ahmad Sofi and other concerned were present.
