CRPF Organises Ration Distribution Camp at Yousmarg, Chadoora & Hayatpora

‘More such distribution camps in offing says IG CRPF, Srinagar Ms. Charu Sinha’

Srinagar, June 23: Today, ration distribution camps by CRPF Srinagar Sector, were held at three different places, two locations, under Badgam District at Chadoora & Hyattpura (Badgam) and one at Yousmarg.

IG CRPF, Srinagar Ms. Charu Sinha who conceived this drive for the needy people of valley, was present herself at Yousmarg. She interacted with the beneficiaries & distributed ration to them.

In this drive of CRPF Srinagar sector, assisted by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, the battalions of CRPF, reached out to downtrodden families, who lost their livelihood due to COVID pandemic, in remote areas.

Free ration, comprising of 25kg rice, 5kg flour, 4kg pulses, 2Kg Sugar, 1 liter cooking oil, salt, spices and tea leaves, was distributed to 200 families today.

43Bn of CRPF Srinagar sector carried out camps, today, at Town Hall, Chadoora, Budgam and Govt. Girls Middle school, Hyattpura, Budgam. Whereas, 181 Bn of CRPF Srinagar Sector reached out to needy families at Yousmerg.

Media advisor, Apni Party, Shri Farooq Andrabi, who was present at Town Hall Chadoora, expressed his gratitude to CRPF for conducting such community outreach activities during tough times of pandemic. He also reiterated that activities like these will bridge the illusionary gap between the security forces and the Awam of Kashmir.

Shri PKG Goswami, Commandant, 43BN CRPF, Badgam, conveyed his gratitude to Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation for contributing to this noble cause and reiterated the slogan of “Peace and Development” for brighter future of Kashmir.
