Rs 11 Lakh sanctioned as Ex-gratia relief

SRINAGAR JUNE 26: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today chaired a meeting of District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee (DLSCC) to decide cases of militancy affected people here.

During the meeting, six cases of victims of militancy-related incidents came up for discussion and after threadbare deliberations an amount of Rs. 11 lakh was sanctioned in favour of the NoKs of Militancy victims.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said, district Administration shall ensure there is nil pendency of such cases requiring immediate relief to the people.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Khurshid Ahmad Shah and other concerned officers.
