Ganderbal 26th june :In a prompt action, Ganderbal Police foiled a suicide bid attempted by a minor girl.On 25/06/2021 in the evening hours, DO Police Post Shadipora Sub Inspector Gulzar Ahmad during patrolling in the area, found a girl attempting to jump into the river Jehlum at village Shalhar Dab, Ganderbal. After noticing her movement as doubtful, DO Shadipora rushed towards her and foiled her suicidal attempt. The Girl (name with held) resident of Magam, Budgam was pacified and after proper counselling handed over to her parents.
General people of Ganderbal applauded this action of Police and parents expressed their gratitude to the Police for swift response which saved a life.
