On 26th June evening an effervescent Cultural Programme was conducted at Vilgam to welcome Swarnim Vijay Varsh Mashaal.The event was an amalgamation of Kashmiri Dance, Patriotic Songs, a mesmerizing Battle Depiction of ‘Op Gazab’ fought at Tangdhar Sector and Khukri Dance by ferocious looking Gorkha Soldiers. The 1971 War Veterans were also felicitated during the event. The Vijay Mashaal was rested for the night halt at Vilgam. Today on 27th June Vijay Mashaal was bid adieu with full fare amidst chanting of Bharat Mata Ki Jai at Vilgam Camp for The Sikh War Memorial, at Baramulla and handed over to Baramulla Artillery Brigade.
