SRINAGAR, JUNE 28: Several deputations and individuals today called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan at Civil Secretariat here and apprised him of their grievances and demands.
A delegation of Amar Singh Club met the Advisor and informed him about the various issues of the club and other local issues.
Delegation requested the Advisor to have the deficiencies of the club met out. It demanded for resumption of the club activities, besides augmentation of various facilities at the club.
The delegation also briefed the Advisor about the aims, objectives and social activities of the Club. The Advisor advised the Club members to take up activities which help in generating enlarged awareness among the society. He asked the members to get associated with the district administration to generate awareness about the importance of vaccination and Covid appropriate behavior.
A delegation led by Kiran Watal, Convener of the Mata Kheer Bhawani ji yatra called upon the Advisor and thanked the Lieutenant Governor and the Advisor for the support in facilitating the Yatra.
Similarly other delegation raised various issues of public importance in their respective localities and sought intervention of the Advisor in this regard. Likewise several individuals also called on Advisor and raised their individual matters.
Advisor gave a patient hearing to all the delegations and individuals and assured an early redressal of their genuine demands and issues. He said that the issues projected by them would be taken up with the concerned departments.
Advisor also passed on spot directions to redress various grievances of the people who represented before the Advisor.
