Teams on job to clear debris: SSP National Highway Traffic
Srinagar, Jul 09: The traffic movement on Srinagar-Jammu highway was suspended after a landslide occurred at Magharkote on Friday evening.
Officials sources told that a huge landslide occurred at Magharkote on Friday evening.They said the landslide blocked traffic movement on either side of the highway, adding that it may take the entire night to clear the debris.
Officials said that the highway would likely be restored by tomorrow.
“Our teams are on job to clear the debris from the highway, which is presently closed for movement of traffic,” Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) National Highway Traffic, Shabir Malik told.
