DDC Chairperson Poonch reviews developmental scenario in Mandi
POONCH, JULY 11: Chairperson, District Development Council, Poonch, Tazeem Akhter today reviewed the developmental scenario and achievements of the different Departments of Tehsil Mandi, here at a meeting held in Dak Bunglow Loran.
Block Development Council Chairperson Sathra, BDC Chairperson Loran, DDC Member Mandi, DDC Member Loran & ADDC and all District, Sectoral and Tehsil Officers attended the meeting.
The members raised different issues of public importance. Responding to the demands, suitable directions were passed by the chairperson to the concerned department.
The meeting discussed various issues including, shortage of Staff in NTPHC Sathra, Non availability of land for sub centre Chakrara, uninterrupted power supply for PHC loran, blacktopping of roads from Saikloo to Gali Pindi, and from Bandi Kamakhan to Gali Pindi, Markote road,Naganari road, Steelan road, Loran Bridge, re-validation of funds under TSP for Markote road and Battlekote to Kunjan road, functional OPD work in SDH Mandi, land for Sub Centre Chakrara,
Additional District Development Commissioner, Abdul Sattar, assured that all the grievances will be redressed in time bound manner and directed to the concerned officers to execute all pending works and resolve rest of the issues as early as possible.
After meeting the Chairperson, the DDC members interacted with the general public & resolved some public issues on the spot.
Later, the Chairperson along with DDC members inspected the PHC Loran & under construction building of RDD.
The people of the area expressed gratitude to DDC Members, Poonch Administration and especially to the Chairperson for looking into the local issues.
