Doda records 73% registrations under AB PM-JAY- SEHAT scheme till June end

DDC seeks 100 percent coverage of eligible beneficiaries

DODA, JULY 12: District Doda has recorded73% registrations under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) SEHAT scheme till June 28, 2021.

Out of 80627 families in the district, atleast one member of 58578 families have been registered which is about 73%. Out of 411696 eligible beneficiaries, 187214 have been registered after due verification, and 182842 given golden cards.

 The information was given at a meeting chaired by Development Commissioner, Vikas Sharma to take stock of progress and achievements under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) SEHAT scheme. The meeting was attended by health officers/Officials, CSC officials and representatives of insurance companies.

Dr Umar Khan, Epidemiologist (Nodal officer)  gave the details  including total families identified, total verified members, registrations done, status of Ayushman card Generation, claims submitted, paid and amount rejected.

The DC directed that all the 170 CSCs shall ensure the registration of beneficiaries at Panchayat level with active involvement of PRIs. He further directed to carry out aggressive IEC activities to encourage maximum people to take the benefit of the flagship health scheme. He further directed ADC Bhaderwah and all SDMs to take review meetings with CSC members and BMOs of their jurisdiction and monitor the progress closely.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Medical Officer, BMOs, District Nodal Officer, District manager CSC, besides other officials of the concerned department.
