July 12: Police in Handwara in collaboration with GDC Langate organized an awareness rally about Covid-19.
The rally started from GDC Langate, marched through the link roads & culminated at Main Market Langate. Faculty members of GDC Langate, students and Police personnel participated in the rally.
During the drive, general public of Langate were given awareness about the Covid-19 pandemic, its symptoms and guidelines issued by the government. The general public were also advised to get vaccinated and not to pay heed to rumours being circulated by miscreants on Social Media.
Besides, masks and sanitizers were distributed among the general public.
The main motive of the drive was to create awareness among the masses about the causes and consequences of Covid-19 and the precautions to be taken to contain the spread of virus.
