Doda, July 15:- Additional Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Dr R.K Bharti today chaired a meeting to discuss the Independence Day Celebrations arrangements here at Conference Hall of DC office Doda.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure all necessary arrangements are put in place well in time and informed that the main function will be held at Sports Stadium Doda where Chief Guest will unfurl the tricolour and shall take salute at the March Past Parade.
The contingents of J&K Police, IRP, CRPF, FPF, SSB, Senior and Junior NCC wings and District Police Band shall participate in the march past.
Similarly it was decided that there shall not be more than 3 to 4 cultural items during the Independence Day celebration which has to be prepared by the Cultural department, besides ADC directed the concerned to ensure that small group of people shall participate in one cultural item.
Regarding Tableaus, the ADC directed all the departments to prepare their tableaus as per the past practice in the meticulous manner, besides asked them that tableaus shall highlight the main activity of their department.
It was also decided that all the Covid-19 SOPs shall be observed during the program, besides Health department was directed to place covid counters with hand sanitizers at the venue.
The ADC also directed all the departments to submit the name of the officials before the screening committee who have made outstanding performance in their respective fields so that the felicitation trophies shall be made available by the concerned authorities well in advance.
The ADC also instructed the officers to work in close coordination. Strict adherence to Covid-19 protocol during Independence Day celebration was stressed upon.
The meeting was attended by SP Bhaderwah, Commandant IRP, Dy Commandant, PO ICDS, CPO, GM DIC, ACD Doda, CMO, CEO, DIO beside other key officials of Civil/Police administration and Para Military forces.
