Budgam, July 17: A 17-year-old girl tried to end her life by hanging herself at home in Charar-i-Sharief area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday.
Sources told the news agency that the girl (name withheld) hanged herself at her home and was immediately rushed to SDH Charar-i-Sharief, where from she was referred to SMHS Srinagar in a critical condition.
The official said that it was not immediately known as to why she took this extreme step.
