World Day for International Justice celebrated at Aryans.Law students participated in declamation contest

Srinagar 18th July :To mark importance of “World Day for International Justice” A declamation contest was organized by Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh on this year theme “A call for justice in the digital economy”. Aryans students of Law, Engineering, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, B.Ed, Agriculture etc participated. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group praised all the students for participating in the competitions whole heartedly and motivated them to partake more in future days.

Ms Anchal Jariyal, Faculty, Aryans College of Law while discussing the importance of Justice said that the judicial system of a nation puts every person in their own place, and fights corruption in the process. Ensuring justice is the chief goal of the judicial system, and it takes every measure necessary to ensure the same, said Jariyal.

The law students including from LLB & BA. LLB Sandeep Kaur, Amisha, Sukhmanpreet kaur, Rasal, Mansi, Muskan, Jaswinder, Pinky, Manpreet, Harneet, Raman Ghoury spoke on various topics to raise a voice against social injustice and to bring the various communities internationally together to eliminate poverty, gender, and physical discrimination, illiteracy, religious discrimination to make a socially integrated society.

It is to be mentioned that 17 July is celebrated as World Day for International Justice is the anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute in 1998. With the help of this treaty, the International Criminal Court (ICC) was established. In 1998 since that day, about 139 countries have signed the Court’s treaty and nearly 80 States, representative of every region of the world, have ratified it.
