KULGAM,JULY,26:

Kulgam Administration Rebukes News item about closure of Aharbal Tourist Destination which have been circulated by a socail media group.
They apprised that the pathway near TRC leading to waterfall at Aharbal will remain temporarily closed for restoration/ repairs for a short period of approx. 10-15 days.

Administration maintained that all other areas of Tourist Destination Aharbal including Parks, Cafetaria, Hutmment area, Trekking routes,Gurwattan area including local establishments are open for tourists, locals and public on all days of the week.

The closure of pathway has nothing to do with any recent incident and has been done so that repair works can be completed early and without any inconvenience from public rush.
