Ganderbal 13th Aug:In a prompt action, Ganderbal Police foiled another suicide bid attempted by a minor boy. Today at 1500 hours, DO Police Post Shadipora Sub Inspector Gulzar Ahmad during patrolling in the area, found a boy attempting to jump into the river Jehlum near Kharbagh, Ganderbal. After noticing his movement as doubtful, DO Shadipora rushed towards him and foiled his suicidal attempt.
The boy (name with held) resident of Nainara Sumbal, District Bandipora was pacified and after proper counselling handed over to his parents.
General people of Ganderbal applauded this action of Police and parents expressed their gratitude to the Police for swift response which saved a life.
