With the aim to connect with the Awam and to commemorate 75th Independence Day Celebrations, Ganderbal RR Battalion invited the locals to share the happiness of this special day at all Army Camps in its jurisdiction. A day with the troops of the Indian Army was organised with the local populace and the children . Apart from the Flag hoisting at the camps the locals were given an insight of the Army way of life. Other attractions were the Dog show, Eqpt display and Bayonet Assault was the most exciting of all. This was followed by snacks and tea for all.
The locals were very touched and happy that they were also a part of this day with the Army.
