CAPT SAURABH KALIA CRICKET CUP

Srinagar, 08 Sep 2021. To commemorate the 75 years of Independence, Capt Saurabh Kalia (T-20) Cricket Cup was organized by ‘Forever in Operations’ Division under the aegis of Fire and Fury Corps. The event was conducted from 02 September 21 to 06 September 21 wherein four teams represented the remote areas of Dras, Kargil, Biamah and Zanskar.

In an exciting final match played between Kargil Kings and Dras Daredevils, Kargil Kings clinched the Capt Saurabh Kalia (T-20) Cricket Cup by successfully chasing the score of 183 runs made by Drass Daredevils. Capt Saurabh Kalia (T-20) Cricket Cup afforded an excellent opportunity to the local cricketers to showcase their talent and strengthen the bonds of friendship between the local populace of Western Ladakh and the Army.
