Director SKIMS and EOSG, Dr. A.G Ahangar inaugurated today “Separate Registration Counter for Senior Citizens and Central Govt. Pensioners”

Pensioners Welfare Association Kashmir(CGPWA),  Mr. Mohammed Shafi Pandit and Vice President, Dr. Rafeeq Massoodi and other representatives of the association. The dedicated counter will provide the services on priority to the senior citizens of J & K  Union Territory. Director NIIT, Mr. R.K Sehgal was also present on the occasion. After inaugural ceremony Director SKIMS had a detailed interaction with the representatives of Central Govt. Pensioners Welfare Association Kashmir(CGPWA) which was attended by President CGPWA Kashmir,               Mr. Mohammed Shafi Pandit and Vice President, Dr. Rafeeq Massoodi and General Secretary, Mr. G.N Kant, Secretary, Mr. G.M Wani and  representatives of the association. Dean Medical Faculty, Dr. O.J. Shah, Prof. Tariq Gojwari, HOD Radiodiagnosis, Medical Superintendent SKIMS, Dr. Farooq A. Jan, Chief of Hospital Administration, Dr. G.H Yattoo, Chief Engineer SKIMS, P.A Qademi Superintending Engineer(E&C/IT) SKIMS, Er. Farooq Ahmed Wani participated in the meeting.

 

Director SKIMS complimented President  CGPWA Kashmir and Hospital Administration SKIMS for their efforts and said the facility thrown open today for senior citizens will benefit them and will provide hassle free services. He directed Hospital Administration to extend cashless benefits and other services to the senior citizens under Ayushman Bharat Sehet Scheme as well as Central Govt. sponsored schemes.  Director SKIMS also applauded IT Department for providing online services to the patients in general and facilitating the patient care services at SKIMS.

 

President CGPWA Kashmir, Jinab Mohammed Shafi Pandit thanked Director SKIMS and his team for providing this service for senior citizens which he said the association was persuing for a long time and appreciated the Director SKIMS for the positive response and support. He further urged Director SKIMS for making this service more useful and facilitative in future.

Dean Medical Faculty SKIMS, Dr. O.J Shah appreciated administration for the initiative and said the senior citizens need this kind of facility and SKIMS has taken the step in right direction.

 

Vice president Dr Masoodi thanked Director SKIMS and all the team members on behalf of Central Govt. Pensioners Welfare Association Kashmir (CGPWA) for making this service available which he said was overdue.

 

Medical Superintendent SKIMS, Dr. Farooq A. Jan, Chief of Hospital Administration, Dr. G.H Yattoo, Superintending Engineer (E&C/IT) SKIMS, Er. Farooq Ahmed Wani also spoke on the occasion and said SKIMS will soon have single window system which will provide the hassle free services to all the patients at SKIMS.
