Srinagar: DDC Chairperson Ganderbal Nuzhat Ishfaq former MLA Ganderbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar today called on the Chief Secretary, Arun Kumar Mehta.
The duo apprised the Chief Secretary put forth various issues of public importance from Ganderbal pertaining to widening of Pandach-Beehama road and demanded release of funds from state sector, on which CS assured release of Rs 25 crore. They also demand construction of amusement park besides other demands.
DDC Chairperson also raised the issue of council and accomodation related problems with the Chief Secretary.
While interacting with them, CS observed that the Government is taking comprehensive measures to ensure equitable and balanced development of Jammu and Kashmir.
We are committed to working for the welfare of all sections of the society without any discrimination and the concerning issues of the people of the J&K are being addressed on priority, added the CS.
