General Secretary Apni Party Ganderbal Mohd Amin Shah appeals Ministry of health and family welfare, Govt of India to review the notification for disengagement of newly appointed medical staff in view of Covid-19 breakdown.

Appeals Centre to provide financial support to JKNHM.

General Secretary Apni Party Ganderbal Mohd Amin Shah expressed concern about the news regarding disengagement of newly appointed staff nurses, lab technician, anesthesia technician, etc. under various medical Colleges and districts in view of Covid-19 breakdown.
Shah further said that the terms and conditions laydown in said scheme was that the contract period upto three months and extandable upto 6 months. Ist contract period of some employees was appointed in December 2020 and due to sudden rise in covid 19 cases, their service was extended upto may 2021.whereas some of the employees appointed in may 2021 not yet completed Ist extention period which is upto October. During this contract period many of the employees came in contact with the covid 19 positive patients and their test also came positive.
Apni party leader said that the NHM director issued a notice under notice no. SHA/NHM/J&K/HR/1016 53 dated 20-9-2021.
In the said notification it is mentioned that ministry of health and family welfare, govt of India has not senctioned any further financial support for continuation of this manpower beyond 30th of September 2021.
Apni party leader and General Secretary Ganderbal M Amin Shah appealed Govt of India and UT LG to provide financial support to JKNHM for the continuation of their service.
Shah further requested Govt of India to keep in view 3rd wave of Covid-19 and high demand of professional, kindly convert the scheme into regular NHM for their continuation.
