Medical Camp & Ration Distribution by Srinagar Sector CRPF

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” *Following this noble quote of the Father of the Nation, on his Birth Anniversary, Srinagar Sector, CRPF distributed foldable wheelchairs, medicines and ration to needy people under districts Ganderbal and Badgam.
While in Ganderbal district, a series of Medical camps and Ration distribution programmes were organized by 118 BN CRPF, in villages Chapargund, Badargund, Haripora, Chhatrgul, Akhal, Gund, and Reezan. Medical Consultations and free medicines were provided to 500 patients in this mobile medical camp. Ration packets were distributed to almost 100 needy families. This time of the year being the time of harvesting, people are not able to go to hospital and CRPF approaching them at their doorsteps, field/farms, came like a fresh breeze of air for them. Dr. Satyaveer Verma, Commandant, 118 Bn supervised this noble initiate across all the villages and interacted with villagers.
In the Badgam district, 35 Battalion CRPF held second consecutive medical camp during this week at Govt. Primary Schoo,Eidgah Mohalla, Humhama, Badgam. More than 350 persons, from districts Badgam and Srinagar, attended this camp. On this occasion, 15(fifteen) foldable wheel chairs were distributed to Divyangs. The Medical Officers of 35th Battalion CRPF consulted the patients and distributed free medicines and COVID care kits to them. Sh. Naresh Yadav, Second In Command and Sh. Rajeev Yadav, Second In Command of 35 Battalion, CRPF supervised the medical camp and interacted with locals.
The locals at all the places praised and lauded the efforts of CRPF for having organised these medical camps.
