17-yr-old girl injured in bear attack in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Oct 16: A 17-year-old girl was injured after she was attacked by a wild bear in Anderwan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal on Saturday evening.

An official told the news agency that a girl identified as Shahnaz, daughter of Gulzar Ahmad Khan of Anderwan was injured when a bear attacked her in the fields.

She was rushed to PHC Manigam for the treatment wherefrom she was referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment
