As part of the outreach programme and to foster the bonhomie between the Awam and Jawan, an Eid Milan party was organised by the Indian Army in Gurez to meet and greet the Awam on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad at the Rajput hall in Dawar.
A total of 43 individuals including important dignitaries from the Civil Administration, Ex service men, Sarpanchs, Youth, Police personnel and other locals attended the colourful festive celebrations. The event provided an opportunity for the locals and Army personnels to interact freely and share their happiness over sumptuous tea, snacks and sweets.
The event was highly appreciated and welcomed by the Awam, who were happy and elated to include the Army as part of their festivities.
