Kashmir Quarry Association representatives today felicitated BJP Spokesperson & Chairperson of Waqf Development Committee of Ministry of Minority Affairs Dr Darakhshan Andrabi for her nomination to BJP National Executive. President of Himalaya Quarry & Tipper Association Mohammad Maqbool Parray, Bashir Ahmad Bhat of United Quarry Association, other representatives including Nazir Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Ayoob Sheikh & Tanveer Ahmad Bhat were part of the delegation. Dr Darakhshan Andrabi thanked them for their honours. While speaking on the occasion Dr Andrabi said that she has always raised voice for the last one decade for these local entrepreneurs and quarry operators. “Small industrial sector & local business enterprises need to be promoted on priority in Jammu & Kashmir so that the local economy flourishes,” said Dr Andrabi while speaking on the occasion. She said that she has taken up the issue with the government and she will be expecting a comprehensive policy from the government regarding legal & financial safeguards to the local business & industry houses. Dr Andrabi assured the delegation that she will continue to fight for their causes. The head of the delegation Mohammad Maqbool Parray thanked Dr Andrabi for her support to their business industry and assured her that they will strive hard to create more earning opportunities out of this industry in the days to come.
