J&KWoman pillion rider crushed to death by speeding truck in Sopore

Sopore, Nov 10: A 33-year-old woman was killed in a road accident that took place in Model Town area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday evening.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the woman who was riding pillion on a motorbike died after being hit by a speedy truck today evening in Sopore town.

The deceased has been identified as Mysara wife of Abdul Rahim Kumar of Botengoo.

The official said that the driver of the vehicle has been arrested and vehicle has also been seized, while further investigation is going on.

He also said that after legal and medical formalities, the body was handed over to her family for last rites.
