Dr Darakhshan presents ‘Digital-Waqf’ roadmap to Governor of Goa during a meeting at Panjim

‘Minority-fear in India is a false narrative of anti-Modi & anti-India forces & propagated by the desperate opposition ’: Darakhshan Andrabi

BJP National Executive member & Chairperson of Waqf Development Committee of Ministry of Minority Affairs Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today had a meeting with Governor of Goa Mr P S Shreedharan Pillai at Rajbhavan in Panjim. Dr Darakhshan reached today in connection with the tour of the state where the delegation of Central Waqf Council will be inspecting the shrines and assets & properties under Goa State Waqf Board. Dr Andrabi discussed minority affairs issues in detail with the Governor and briefed him about the initiatives and programmes of Minority Welfare implemented by the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs. Dr Andrabi presented a ‘Digital-Waqf’ roadmap to the Governor and requested him to issue orders to the State Waqf Board to go digital so that transparency and flawless working system within the management is ensured. Mr Pillai expressed his pleasure on the latest reforms undertaken by the Union Ministry under the leadership of Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi assured Dr Andrabi that Honourable Prime Minister’s Digital India vision will be extended to the Waqf in the state of Goa soon. The Governor presented a copy of his famous book “Dark Days of Democracy” to Dr Andrabi. This book gives a detailed account of the assault on democracy engineered by the Congress Party under the leadership of Indira Gandhi during the Emergency. The Governor hailed the multi-layered and multi-dimensional contribution to politics, to social reforms and to literature by Dr Darakhshan Andrabi. Speaking to media after the meeting in reply to a question DR Darakhshan Andrabi said a false narrative of ‘minority-fear’ in India has been carved out of the anti-Modi and anti-India forces and it is unfortunately being vehemently propagated by the desperate opposition in the country.
