Mega Block Diwas held at Kulgam

KULGAM, DECEMBER 08:

The District Administration Kulgam today organized Mega Block Diwas in 3 blocks of the district to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands at their door steps.

The grievance redressal camps were held at Devsar, Kulgam and D. H. Pora blocks of the district.

During the daylong grievance redressal camps at all the three venues, Officers and officials from line departments listened to issues, grievances and demands of the people for their timely redressal.

Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Additional Development Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather, remained available at Block Complex Kulgam where he listened to grievances and issues of people.

People from several areas including Kanipora, Aamnoo, Ashthal, Chelan, Behibagh, Chawalgam apprised the ADC about various issues and put forth their demand for redressal.
Officers from departments also responded to the queries raised by people pertaining to their demands.

It was also informed that land has been identified for 4 major playfields in Pombay Block and developmental work has been started over these playfields.

All the issues were listened to patiently and issues of immediate nature were redressed on spot during this grievance redressal camp.

ACD, Tehsildar, BDO and other officers also attended this grievance redressal camp.

Meanwhile at grievance redressal camps in D.H. Pora and Devsar blocks, officers listened to the issues and grievances of people for timely redressal.
