Bandipora, Dec 10: Two policemen were killed in a militant attack at Gulshan Chowk of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday.
Police said that militants fired upon a police party at Gulshan Chowk area of Bandipora. In this militant incident, 2 police personnel namely Selection Grade Constable Muhammad Sultan and Constable Fayaz Ahmad got injured. They were shifted to hospital where both succumbed to their injuries.
Area was cordoned off after the attack and a search operation was launched, however, no arrests were made.
Reports said that the slain cops were posted at police station Gulshan Chowk.
