Two LeT/TRF militants killed in Kulgam Encounter

Srinagar, December 16: Two militants of Lashkar-i-Toiba (TRF) were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Redwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thrusday.

A senior Police officer told that two militants of LeT (TRF) were killed in an encounter of firing in Redwani. However identity of militants yet to be ascertained.

Earlier a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in the area on the evening of Wednesday. As the joint team of Police approached towards suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces triggering off an encounter.
