Indian Army Organises Swachh Bharat Abhiyan In Pulwama

A cleanliness drive, as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organised by the Indian Army in conjunction with Municipal corporation of Pulwama, in and around Pulwama Town, Gulzarpora Market, Tahab and Chandgam villages, Banderpora Village and its adjoining Government School and Deiri village with help of volunteer youth and local shopkeepers. All the volunteer participants pledged to dedicate half an hour daily to the cleanliness of their localities.

The exercise saw participation of over 100 volunteers, most of them local Youth, who worked with zeal and enthusiasm towards the cleanliness of their respective localities.

This initiative of the Indian Army has united the people of Pulwama District in beautifying their localities and has also given them unity in a constructive purpose.
