To continue working as basic member of the party
Srinagar, Feb 9: Ghulam Nabi Lone (Hanjura) on Wednesday resigned from the post of general secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) due to “personal engagements”.
“I do hereby resign from the post of general secretary of the party and as member of the political affairs committee today because of my personal engagements. However i will continue to work as basic member of the party,” he said, in a communiqué to PDP president Mehbooba Mufti.
