March 08: As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Ganderbal facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Kheerbawani.
The meeting was organised on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS and was chaired by DySP Hqrs Shri Ghulam Hassan-JKPS besides SHO PS Kheerbawani Inspector Mudasir Zaroo and other Police officers were also present on the occasion. The meeting was attended by Numberdars, Chowkidars and respectable citizens of the areas.
During the meeting, participants raised various issues including drug menace, thefts, black marketing and other several issues. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority while as the other issues will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal. The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
The participants appreciated the police for conducting such interaction meetings and assured their full support & cooperation in curbing the menace of social crimes.
