Poster Making Competition under “Puneet Sagar Abhiyan” held at GDC Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, APRIL 03:  As part of 5 day “Puneet Sagar Abhiyan” programme   launched by NCC unit of Government Degree College Kishtwar, a poster making competition was  organised  on the day two here under the guidance of  Lieutenant (Dr.) Madhu Bala-the coordinator of the event.

Prof. Anirudh Sharma, Principal Government Degree College, Kishtwar also graced the event.

A total 40 cadets were present during the event and 10 cadets participated in the Poster Making Competition with great Zeal and enthusiasm.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal, Prof Anirudh Sharma threw light on the role of National Cadet Corps (NCC) in inculcating the values of discipline, unity and integrity in the life of the students.

He said that success can be achieved by focusing on NCC activities and academic activities simultaneously and asked all the students to follow the suite as it will be of immense help in their character building.

Meanwhile, an NCC alumni, Bhanu Kumar Badyal, also shared his experience with the NCC unit and told them how NCC has changed his personality.

He also said that NCC has taught him that hard-work and disciplined life plays a significant role in achieving one’s goal.
