Gram Swaraj Month: DC Rajouri reviews activities, achievements

1000 fresh pension applications received; 

180103 beneficiaries registered under E- Shram

RAJOURI, APRIL 07:  Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today conducted a review meeting regarding the programmes being organized in conjunction with “Gram Swaraj Month” in the district.

The meeting held detailed discussions on the activity schedule and resolved to implement the 100 point programme in letter and spirit.

While addressing the meeting, the DC said that the 100 point programme of the Government aims to ensure grassroots penetration of various welfare measures, promote mass participation and spread awareness among the public about various government initiatives.

While taking stock of pension cases, the DSWO informed that special camps are being organised across the district in connection with the 100 percent saturation. He also informed that more than 1000 applications have been received under different pension categories.

While reviewing the activities under the RDD sector, the Assistant Commissioner of Development Informed that a series of activities like cleanliness drives, the establishment of Panchayat secretary; and special gram sabhas.

The ACD informed that 184 panchayat secretariats have been made functional and 39 special gram sabhas were held where participants were given detailed information about different schemes.

The ALC Rajouri also informed that 180103 beneficiaries have been registered under E- Shram and camps are being organised for 100 per cent saturation.

The DC directed for timely submission of details along with high resolution photographs for further submission. He also directed the officers present to work on mission mode for 100 percent saturation under different schemes.
