Kishtwar: Animal Husbandry Department celebrates World Veterinary Day 2022

KISHTWAR MAY 01: Animal Husbandry Department Kishtwar today celebrated World Veterinary Day 2022 here at Chief Animal Husbandry Office with the theme “Strengthening Veterinary Resilience”.

The event was chaired by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr.Sanjay Kumar Sen.

The programme started with the welcome of all the dignitaries, participants, ex. Veterinarians and para-vets.

The veterinarian took a pledge administered by Dr. S.M Usman to serve the country.

Speaking on the occasion, the CAHO    highlighted the importance of this day. He congratulated the ex. veterinarians and para-vets for their immense contribution in the field of veterinary. He also urged the staff members to work with zeal and zest for the betterment of this profession. He further said that veterinarians are the best doctors in the world as they treat speechless creations of God.

Several Ex paravets shared their views and give their suggestions to boost the Animal Husbandry sector.

Abdul Majeed Bichoo (SO) talked about yak farm revival and livestock insurance.

Meanwhile, Jagdish Raj Sen Ex AVO also shared his views and said that the young generation vets and para-vets are the future of this country and have to play a very important role in boosting the economy of poor farmers.

Concluding the programme, the CAHO Kishtwar said that the role of veterinarians is immense towards the development of the society.
