Bari Brahmana Municipal Committee conducts special sanitation drive

SAMBA, MAY 3: Bari Brahmana Municipal Committee today conducted special sanitation/cleanliness drive under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The Municipal Executive Officer Bari Brahmana informed that under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Samba, special sanitation and cleanliness drive was conducted across the town in view of the EID.

According to the official, atleast 50 sanitation workers were pressed into service for lifting of solid waste and accumulated garbage. Many garbage lifting vehicles including Hoppers, Loaders, Tippers and other machines were pressed into service for conducting the cleanliness drive, he added.

Meanwhile cleanliness drives were also conducted at Samba, Vijaypur and Ramgarh.
