Post a counselling session, today a total of 13 Kashmiri youths of Rajwar area departed for ‘Skill Development Programmes’ to Chennai. The same was facilitated by #KiloForce Sect in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Devp, L&T along with Healing Touch NGO.
The main focus of this programme is to skill youth in age group between 18-35 and to provide emp opportunities for underprivileged & unemployed youth. The students will undergo 3 months training course at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development and L&T at Chennai.
The programme is fully sponsored with guaranteed employment. The youth, as well as the guardians have expressed deep gratitude to the Indian Army for the initiative. The same was lauded by the locals and is expected to act as a huge Confidence Building Measure.
