SP College Srinagar organises Inter-college Video Clip Competition

SRINAGAR, JUNE 07: As part of World Environment Week-2022 celebrations, the P. G. Department of Environmental Science and Department of Environment and Water Management Sri Pratap College, Srinagar today organised an inter college video clip competition on the theme ‘Our Anti Environment Practices’.

The Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Khurshid Ahmad Khan appreciated the event in providing different means of expression for the students in terms of use of modern technologies for highlighting environmental issues.

He underlined that such events encourage students to learn more and express their views in a more effective way. He wanted the students to shine in every sphere of knowledge and to do their best.

As many as 19 video clips were received from student participants of different colleges.

The panel of judges for the competition constituted of Dr. Roohi Mushtaq (HoD Biotechnology), Prof. Zaffar Majid (HoD Information Technology) and Prof. Abdur Rauf Faroqui (Dept of Environmental Science).

Prof. Shahid Ahmad Wani (Coordinator), Dr. Qazi Ashiq Hussain (Organising Secretary), Dr. Gowhar Hamid Dar (in-charge video clip competition) and other faculty members were present on the occasion to facilitate the programme.
