Police along with locals perform last rites
A 52-year-old non-local labourer died of heart attack on Wednesday at Pakherpora area in Central Kashmir Budgam’s district.
Sources told news agency that the labourer identified as Lakhan Devrishi son of Chaitu Devrishi, a resident of Khawashpur Bihar, fell unconscious in his rented room at Mohandpora area in Pakherpora.
The labourer was immediately shifted to CHC Pakherpora where doctors declared him dead.
The reason behind his death was said to be a cardiac arrest by doctors, they said.
As per sources, the locals along with police cremated and performed his last rites at Hukdiyagi Nallah in Pakerpora.
