DC appeals public to be part of mega National event
RAJOURI, AUGUST 05: As a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Har Ghar Tiranga program was today celebrated at High School Thandi Kassi where students participated with verve in the event.
The event was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal. Among the others, ACP, Abdul Rashid Kohli and Tehsildar Rajouri, Javed Chowdhury were also present during the event.
Addressing the event, the DC said that ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has been launched under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.
While highlighting the importance of the campaign, he said that the event is aimed at invoking a feeling of patriotism among the citizens and promoting a sense of respect for the symbols of Independence.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the public to bring and hoist Tiranga at their homes marking the 75th year of India’s independence and to make ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a successful event in the district.
